So far, for my entire vacation, my calves have been killing me. I've been walking like something is wrong with me. They're very tense when I wake up and even walking does not loosen them up. So I'm already behind in wanting to get stuffers done. Today was one of the more unproductive days I've had.
With Dad's help, I did manage to get my bed on a frame. Freaking awesome. I'm telling ya. I bought two bins for under the bed, only to discover that three can fit. Dawn let me have one of hers on the condition I buy her two tomorrow. Will do. I emptied out one of my black bins into them and ended up filling it back up with scrapbooks. This created room on my shelves for my books, so I took those off my desk. The desk has stuff on it still, but now I will no longer have the possibility of an avalanche.
So far I've managed to keep Gibbs in the wicker basket at the foot of my bed. I'm going to see if I can keep him off my bed. I can't Clover. She sleeps with me on her pillow. I have to watch her, anyway (and she's like three times as small as him). Hopefully this will keep the dog hair/dander on my bed to a minimum and my allergies somewhat under control. Tomorrow Clover gets a bath.
Tomorrow my mom, sister, and I are having lunch with my aunt and cousin. It's been a while since we've all got to sit around and talk, so it'll be fun. Then Friday my sister and I are going wine tasting for the first time with one of my awesome co-workers, whose husband is going to drop us off so we don't have to worry about drinking and driving (she knows me so well), then dinner afterwards. I'm mega-looking forward to it.
And then maybe I'll be able to spend the rest of my weekend doing crafts I've been needing to do for a while. Or at least make it so it'll be easier to do during the week. I so wish I had normal work hours...
