Reach for the Sky!

So today I started going back to the gym. Hopefully it will last longer than just...today. I spent 35 minutes on the treadmill going 3.2 than 3.0 miles an hour. I made it to a little over 1.65 miles. Which is good for me. I also did some research after coming home and found some incline/speed things to help lose weight faster. It's like a 30 minutes routine where you change up how fast you walk and/or the incline. Now I can't remember which I found more interesting... In any case, I have one to try for tomorrow and if that does not work, I have others to try, including ones for the elliptical, another of my favorite machines.

I hope I can keep this up. The only downside is I shower when I get home, which means in the morning I pull my hair in a pony tail and it's a little harder to figure things out to do with it. I am sure there will be days where I will be showering twice.

The most positive thing from tonight was I had energy after I worked out. The last time I was spending my lunches walking on the treadmill, I was so exhausted after the half hour, I could have easily fell asleep at my desk. I think after I get back on my normal 8-hour schedule, I want to start walking for half an hour again to help strengthen my legs.

I guess after I start figuring this out, the next thing to tackle would be my sleep schedule.

  2. Ahahaha!Ahem. Sorry. I've only gone twice. But my legs don't hurt as badly as they did from the last time I tried to go. That said, I didn't gain weight this week (I didn't loose any either), so I take that as a win.
