I finished painting my alphabet block box, so now my set of three is complete! I posted more pics in my flickr, but it's not like you can tell with these anyway. As you can see from the photos, I used three alternating colors. I glued felt to the bottom so they would not scratch up whatever they sat upon. The "c" side is the same as "a". The backs are the same color as the lids (no "d" unfortunately); the lids and backs are just flat. They look a bit funny because these photos were taken with my phone, but I promise they are awesome. :) Eventually I may varnish them to make them shiny and help protect them, but I'm done for now.

I also got the majority of the towels complete, which makes me happy. I've got the green and the pink done. Tomorrow I will finish up the blue then I will post photos of those as well. As I told mom, "I bloody rock!" I am just extremely pleased with how the towels came out.
To top all this off, I started my laundry. And I picked up dog poo. I wish it would disintegrate it is such a disgusting job. However, we have four dogs and it needs to be done. And I do not do it nearly as often as I should (not to say it does not get done, just not by me because I am never up with the sun).
I did watch NCIS before I went to bed last night. It was just as awesome as it always is. And Dawn bought me the next book in a series I am reading. It the "House of Night" series by P.C. and Kristin Cast (mother and daughter team). The writing is not as bad as Twilight, but the new ideas of how vampires come to be and the other creatures, such as warewolves, are interesting. A couple days ago I read "Lady Killer" by Lisa Scottoline. Awesome book. I could not put it down. Yes, I am one of "those people" who like to finish books in one day, but this one was so good I wanted to see how it ended, which was not how I was thinking it was (I like those kind...sometimes it is too obvious and the book just looses something). Right now my supervisor is borrowing it. She is an awesome author.
I did have sort of a headache today but it wasn't too much of anything like my migraine has been, so I happily took advantage of it. Hopefully it will be gone soon. I do have some theories about where my migraines come from, but I usually have one for so long, it can't be attributed to food, allergies, or anything else. New theory in the works and we'll see how that ends up. For now, I'm off to my book.
