Bathed In Paint

I made the last post thinking I was not going to get anything done this weekend. I had trouble sleeping last night and woke up feeling exhausted. I spent a few hours lounging in Mom's bed with her while we both played around on our laptops, then around 7pm maybe, I went into the little house figuring I would sleep. I didn't. I played around on my laptop then watched Big Bang, *&%$ My Dad Says (only because it's on before CSI), and CSI, went back into the house to eat cereal then half past midnight decided I was going to give the bedroom walls the last coat of paint.

So I did. I did a last coat of green paint then pulled out the white to paint the trim. One window received two coats while the other two windows and rest of the trim received one coat. The closet trim looks a bit funny because I didn't paint it all because I didn't want to get paint on my clothes (the ones that are in my closet, not the ones I was wearing). Depending on when my body lets me move again, I will give it a second coat. I admit, I am so over this painting thing that I'm to the point of saying I'm done without the second coat (but it would bug me, so I have to paint it again). I didn't paint the bedroom door. I was afraid of running out of white paint so I think I'm going to paint that green.

I hope to paint it tomorrow, that way the paint will have time to dry and come next weekend (well, my weekend) I will be ready to get my shelves put up and my bed in there. My body aches. I'm currently waiting for the Excedrin PM to start working, so I'm doing this in the meantime. I snapped a couple photos with my cell, but they're blurry. I'm not going to retake them because the lighting is terrible in that room and you can get the gist of what the new white color looks like. (I should mention I used the title I did because I had to give myself a good scrubbing...I was messy.)

  2. Yay! I can't wait to see you finally settled down in your newly painted (by you!) bedroom! By the time you get done with the little house, it'll be all ready to rent out. Haha! Just kidding. We'll be so jealous...but in a good way.
