Ack.

I know I have not posted in a few days. I got sick and am still getting over it. I was not able to complete my to-do list. I do not see that happening this weekend if I still feel this way.

Tuesday I made it to Monterey to check out a table from Craigslist I wanted...I got it. It's a drop leaf vintage seventies one. I think it will work really well for my sewing or crafting. I'll photograph it once I get it set up. I will probably set it up in my living room, though I initally got it for the kitchen. It's too much precious space to use not to craft on. And a plus side is it's not in perfect condition. The laminate is pretty faded on top and coming up in corners (but nothing good glue and clamps won't fix) so I won't be afraid to get something on it. I'm still looking for the right headboard.

I went to Target yesterday and bought more shelves for my room. The last of the big ones. One shelf for my jewelry boxes and one for my DVDs. I also bought one set of the six cubed ones to see how I like it. If I do, I'll have to go back for another one to even out the sides. Then I will need one nine cubed one for the bathroom and I'll finally be done with the shelves, though it has long since become habit to check to see if they are on sale (and they were...ten dollars off each set!).

Today I was at Beverly's and got an awesome wire-mannequin with leaves for my aprons. I've been wanting one for ages. At $45, I could not pass it up. It's whimsical and right up my alley. Along with a ton of yarn I didn't need. But I love my yarn too much. And I actually have a project idea for them, so it won't sit around while I wonder what to make. I also got two yards of fabric. One with circus words on them and one with animals in the old circus cages. It's awesome. I splurged, as they were $10 a yard. But I went looking specifically for elephants and found them.
There are a couple more elephant prints I would like to get, but I need to come up with a solid idea before I buy them. I'm thinking a throw blanket to toss over the back of the chair in my room.

Until then, it's just after nine so I'd better get to bed.
