I ended up not doing a second coat last night because I stayed in the main house talking to my mom and sister for a couple hours, so it was too late to start in on that by the time I made it to my humble abode. I am fighting a migraine, but really wanted the painting done by the time my mini vacation rolls around (I've eeked out 6 days off during shift change!) and it wasn't so bad, so I sucked it up and finished the second coat. I have enough white to do the rest of the trim in the closet as well, but that is going to be done when the closet is emptied because I'm not going to risk getting paint on what few good clothes I have (by that I don't mean expensive, I mean not worn looking).
When I finished, I had enough white paint for the inside of the bedroom door. So I painted that, waited an hour, and now I just finished with the second coat. Honestly, that's all I think it needs. I would say I feel lighter now that I've completed something, but my migraine has gotten so much worse (paint fumes? I get migraines all the time, I don't think it's actually the paint) that my head is lopped over to one side to put pressure to stop the heavy pain that I feel nothing but that. Though I do feel slightly accomplished.
The hardest thing will be to wait the two full days for the paint to dry before attempting to put up the window treatments and my bookshelves up. I am *this close* to actually sleeping in the bedroom and not the living room. I imagine that will happen on my days off. Which is like a mini vacation, but I still have to get up earlier and earlier every day since I have to flip my schedule from nights to days. In any case, I will have plenty of time to get those shelves up and drool over the fact I can actually see all my books again. Does that mean I get two days of relaxing? Ha.

I've had a migraine all day as well--I took something and that helped, but now it's back. I'm excited you get to start moving into your room next week!
