Tomorrow is Friday. Payday. Not a big event, since it all goes to bills, but an event nonetheless. Never succeeded in finding a shower curtain we agree on, so we are just sticking with what we have for now. We are supposed to go to the Gilroy Outlets on Sunday to go to the Corelle store, the Van store, and whatever else tickles our fancy while we are there. I admit, they are overwhelming since it is bigger than the Anderson Outlets I'm used to (over twice as large). I am hoping to find a new set of dishes for the household while we are there, even if it is just the name of the pattern so I can find it cheaper online.
My Hot Topic order came today. Put the new Gir steering wheel cover on. I think I like it. My other one is still good so I'll keep it around until this one goes ka-put to put back on. Glad we got new seat covers, though. The ones I've got on are shot. They are ripped and half icky looking from the sun. Now I am waiting for my Target order to come. I bought two sets of melamine Daisy dishes I have had my eye on for months now. Finally got cheap enough to convince me to buy them. And I bought Mom a hot shot, so that's coming too. Sometime this week. Picked out matching serving bowls, too.
Work is work. I am sitting center, starting today, to get ready to learn the radios. I wouldn't be so worried if they just used plain English instead of codes. I know my training is going slowly, which is great because I'm getting to really know what I'm doing before I move on to the next thing, but every time I learn something new a little part of me jumps and panicks. Listening to the radio today, I do understand what's going on and I know I can do it, but it's the lingo that is holding me up. And the idea they record every word I say (and on the phone, but I'm over that...I pretty much tell every caller I'm training and to bear with me, which so far everyone has been fine with). I'm getting tripped up over abstracts and teletypes. I feel like I am never going to get what to do with those straightened out.
Sigh. I'm going to bed.

I <3 the Gir'd up truck! :) I never did get to see what kinds of dishes you got. I know the pattern, but the sizes, etc.
