Book 32: The Haunting of Freddy

"The Haunting of Freddy" by Dietlof Reiche was an entertaining book. While writing his next book, Freddy's characters would appear then evaporate. It was quite entertaining to read about the two ferrets with the bells on their collars and their rapid disappearance. Enrico and Caruso are as entertaining as ever, making fun of the more serious Freddy as they do in every book (sometimes Freddy needs to lighten up).

This book was also exciting because they got to travel to another location, a castle! Freddy gets a crush on Anabelle, the little girl who helps him close this case. All the other "Freddy" books are adventures and the twist is this one a mystery. I am 26 years old and I found this entire series delightful. Reiche has a knack for writing from an as believable as it can get hamster's point of view. I would read this book again.
