Book 37: Grand Sophy

"Grand Sophy" by Georgette Heyer was one of her more entertaining books. Sophy comes to live with relatives for a while, bringing a monkey for the kids. With the most complex plot out of the rest of her books I have read, it was more enjoyable. You got to see more sides to several characters instead of just two or three. Sophy intends to fix the family, including her cousin who is marrying the wrong girl. This book had me laughing out loud. Sophy was funny, charming, witty, and innocent all at once, making for a delightful read.
