Book 33: Harlequin's Romantic Short Stories

This book, "Harlequin's Romantic Short Stories: 10th birthday celebration" has 11 short stories. Very short stories. They're so short, the story would end before a person with severe ADD got distracted by something else. I did enjoy the "James" story (probably because he was made up and it made her seem like she was a schitzo...he was only in her head, but he spoke to her like a real person), but honestly, I didn't find them all that romantic. I mean, one was about a guy who fell in love with a chick just from watching her like a stalker for weeks without speaking to her.

Since each story was by a different writer, I kept reading to see if it would get better, or if I would come across one I liked. I didn't. Probably because too much happens in such a short span of time in them. You don't fall in love in four pages. I'm happier if they just see the possibility. Or maybe I'm more of a realist than a romantic. (The book is so old a photo on the internet doesn't exist.)
