Book 34: Freddy's Final Quest

In "Freddy's Final Quest" by Dietlof Reiche, Freddy goes an an adventure to help a child in need. He time travels with a mechanical hamster, the two guinea pigs, and a cat to help retrieve DNA from the child's distant relative. This was an exciting book, but as it was the last, I was sad to see the series end. Freddy could have gone on more adventures and it would have been just as entertaining as the first.

I was disappointed in the way the book ended. It was a good book and very well, written, don't get me wrong, but I think the ending should not have been so permanent. Freddy constantly refers to the stories told by a hamster he once knew about having the forever fields of I can't remember now and he finds it in this book. I was hoping the girl would come back with him because it more seems like he turned his back on his family and the people he loved to live his dream. And now he's stuck there because the time machine didn't have enough juice to bring him back. So if he doesn't like it, he deserves it for ending a good series.
