Book 15: Stiff

Like a car wreck, I couldn't look away. When I put this book down, I was thinking about it. It answered all my questions regarding death. The author is to be applauded- she wrote in a humorous tone, making it easy to keep reading. I don't recommend eating while reading this, especially meat or gummy candy, because some of the descriptions can make you queasy. I have a fairly strong stomach, but at one point I did almost throw up (remember: almost).

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know just enough without encountering dead bodies themselves. I do think there should be an age limit on this book. I wouldn't give it to anyone under 13, and even then they'd have to be mature. It's convenient for the curious to have the answers right here, but it could cause nightmares for the more sensitive.

I plan on reading her other two books. Her writing was easy, not awkward at all. It was almost as if she was sitting there telling this to you.
