"The Restless Sleep: Inside New York City's Cold Case Squad" is by Stacy Horn. It follows 4 different stories that I had a little trouble following myself. They were broken up into four different chapters and referred to by name, like the 1997 Stapleton case. I'm sorry, but I can be kind of bad with names and years, but not events. I found it hard to follow, forgetting what happened to whom and when. I would have liked it better if each story was followed to its own conclusion. That said, I did enjoy reading the different aspects of the cold case squad. I very much recommend it to people who are interested in learning more about what happens when cases get shelved for years until they're pulled down again. A lot of the media covers fresh cases. What's happening in the now. I enjoy seeing past cases get solved and people who thought they got away with it, getting caught.
