Book 26: 13 Bullets

"13 Bullets" by David Wellington is NOT my idea of fun.

I have to start off by saying this is in no way the kind of vampire book I like to read. I was not a fan of the gore and the ripping, shredding, and spurting of blood. That said, I did kind of like it (minus all that). It had a good plot, I loved the agenda of the main vampire, and I was drawn into it. The action made me read a little fast, but it was unlike anything I had read before and I was hooked.

I give it a three because of the good plot and ideas I have not come across before. However, someone who likes this genre of vampire books may rate it higher (I don't know, I didn't look at reviews before reading this). I would recommend it to someone who likes action and gore (not just blood). So maybe guys and thriller chicks?
