Book 17: Alice's Adventures Under Ground

After reading "Alice in Wonderland" And "Alice Through The Looking Glass" a couple years ago, I've been in love with her. She has the imagination I love and I just find it captivating. This book is a facsimile of Lewis Carroll's first draft of "Alice". My sister gave it to me.

I found this interesting, though I do admit I love the end result more. Some of the sketches creep me out a little, but it's neat to know that he drew them himself. No, it's not a very long book, but it was one I had never read before. So I read it.

I recommend it for any lover of "Alice". I could definitely see the differences between the two drafts and some parts of this are confusing. Carroll had quite the imagination, which I love him for.
